Our compact BASrouter series of BACnet multi-network routers provides stand-alone routing between BACnet/IP, BACnet Ethernet, and BACnet MS/TP, thereby allowing the system integrator to mix BACnet network technologies within a single BACnet internetwork. Features include built-in BACnet diagnostic capabilities with visual analytics MS/TP status table, routing status table, network errors count, and traffic statistics. This allows the integrator to easily install robust BACnet networks and drastically speed up troubleshooting. Three versions are available — DIN-rail mounted units for fixed installations and a portable unit for commissioning and troubleshooting.
BACnet multi-network routing with SSL and Wireshark® Capture with optional GSA Compliance.
Although the BACnet MS/TP network is secure by nature, the BACnet/IP network could contain security weaknesses. The BASrouterSX can optimize BACnet/IP network security by utilizing an Allowlist. By configuring the Allowlist, only specific BACnet/IP devices can communicate to the BACnet internetwork. The BASrouterSX-GSA is a GSA-compliant model which has been tested and approved for use in U.S. government buildings.
Bringing BACnet/SC to BACnet/IP and MS/TP Networks
Contemporary Controls' new BASrouterSC supports BACnet/SC as well as MS/TP, BACnet/Ethernet, and BACnet/IP devices. Designed with the same ease of configuration and operation as our popular BACnet routers, the BASrouterSC adds BACnet/SC to existing BACnet networks without the need for additional BACnet/SC equipment.
