EIGR-C3 Cellular Router Data Plans

Multiple data plans are available on our website for the new EIGR-C3 Gigabit Cellular Router, approved for use on the Verizon LTE Network. For quick and easy commissioning on the job site, Contemporary Controls can activate and provision this Cellular LTE device on the Verizon network.

The EIGR-C3 provides all the features and conveniences of the Skorpion Line of IP routers, allowing you to easily integrate the OT network within the IT infrastructure. VPN versions provide secure remote access for commissioning, troubleshooting or just gathering data from remote sites.

The EIGR-C3 VPN Router allows cellular, secure VPN connection. It also has an Ethernet port that can act as the WAN if cellular access is not required, along with a built-in 4 port switch on the LAN side. The built-in stateful firewall passes communication initiated on the LAN-side while blocking WAN-side initiated communication. With Port Address Translation (PAT), LAN-side clients can access the Internet. The EIGR-C3 incorporates a real-time clock and OpenVPN client functionality compatible with the Cloud-VPN service from Contemporary Controls (RemoteVPN). The EIGR-C3 operates over a 0 to 60°C temperature range and the EIGR-C3X operates over the −40 to +75°C range.

The EIGR-C3 cellular router comes with a Verizon SIM pre-installed. Let us activate the device for you to avoid having the router provisioned incorrectly when activated through other sources. The EIGR-C3 only transmits data and needs to be provisioned on the "data only" plans which are different than a phone commissioning. By utilizing our commissioning service, customers can be confident that the device will work and not waste their time trying to resolve activation issues. A replacement SIM is available if the original pre-installed SIM is lost or misplaced.

The customer can choose from data plans offering 1GB, 3GB or 5GB of monthly data. Depending on the application requirement, a plan that allows data overage (with overage charges) or a plan that prevents overages by shutting down data after reaching a monthly data limit can be selected. In the case of no overage charge, data is resumed automatically at the start of next monthly billing cycle. Static IP options are also available if required.
